Clearwater Structures Inc. is seeking a skilled heavy truck mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain fleet equipment at our Bowmanville facility.

You will work with diagnostic tools to locate faults, replace parts as needed and ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a trades certificate or diploma (or equivalent experience), and welding capabilities to support ongoing maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifikationen

• Trade certificate or diploma as a base requirement.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing heavy trucks.
• Experience using diagnostic/testing equipment to locate faults.

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Welding experience
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks
• Service attachments and working tools
• Perform other routine maintenance
