Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group Inc. (KAG) is North America's largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

KAG Canada is seeking 3rd and 4th year apprentice Truck Technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of transport trucks and trailers, with company-paid health and dental benefits, tuition reimbursement and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting work orders and technical manuals, performing scheduled preventative maintenance services, diagnosing faults or malfunctions
• Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems on truck and trailers
• Operating oxy-acetylene torches or perform minor welding repairs (non-code work)
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations
• Completing service repair orders and bill out all parts used on repair order
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends
