Job summary

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc. (KAG) is recruiting a Tire Technician for our new Fleet Services facility in Toronto. This role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., with flexibility as business needs change. Responsibilities include tire removal/install, rotation, torque checks, yard checks, and tire program tracking. We value a minimum of 2 years tire experience, a safety-conscious approach, and the optional AZ/Class 1 license.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial or fleet tire experience.
  • Safety-conscious approach to duties.
  • AZ/Class 1 driver’s license is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the in-terminal tire program, including shipping and receiving.
  • Remove and install tires.
  • Rotate tires to support even tread wear.
  • Retorque wheel nuts on branch units as required following repairs.
  • Complete yard checks.
  • Track test tires and related tire program activity.
  • Repair and issue tire chains.
  • Perform hose tests trailing equipment.
  • Perform air checks and torque inspections.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Operate a company vehicle.

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are recruiting for a Tire Technician to join our team at our new Fleet Services facility in Toronto.

Shift: Monday to Friday, eight hours per day, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with flexibility to adjust hours and days based on the changing needs of the business.

About the position:

  • Oversee the in-terminal tire program, including shipping and receiving
  • Remove and install tires

What you bring:
