Kal Tire in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprentice. This full-time, permanent role offers hands-on training alongside experienced technicians to develop skills in servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy‑duty vehicles and equipment.

The position is based at our Edmonton store (14720 Yellowhead Trail NW) with mentorship to become a certified technician. Starting wage is $30.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprenticeship program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Work with a team to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Learn to use specialized tools and equipment effectively.
