Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America seeks a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Alberta operations. You will inspect, repair and maintain heavy equipment including loaders and haul trucks, both surface and underground, with focus on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with operations to keep equipment available.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification required.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and hydraulic issues.
• Working knowledge of mobile and stationary equipment systems including crushing and conveying.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and high-quality workmanship.
