Job summary

National Tank Services, part of the Trimac Family of Companies, is seeking a skilled truck mechanic in the Edmonton area to support preventative maintenance, tire/brake systems and pump rebuilds.

This role offers 4 days on, 4 days off, from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm, with paid orientation and comprehensive benefits.

Red Seal or CVIP are assets; you should have two years of verifiable mechanic experience and be comfortable using hand and air tools while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
• Operation of hand and air tools.
• Red Seal or CVIP are assets.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and service tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PMs, brakes and suspension.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Follow established procedures.

Pay Details

• $49.16 per hour

Schedule

• 4 days on 4 days off
• 5:30 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.
• Follow safety and use of proper PPE.
• Follow procedures.

• Red Seal is an asset.
• CVIP Certification is an asset.
• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
