Job summary

Aviation GSE (Husain Holdings Inc.) at 77 Hale Road, Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair airport ground support gear and heavy machinery on site. Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• At least five years of relevant experience repairing and maintaining heavy‑duty equipment, commercial vehicles, industrial equipment or ground support equipment.
• Demonstrated experience with both diesel-powered and electrically controlled equipment.
• Experience diagnosing electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Experience using computerized and electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose faults and malfunctions in heavy‑duty equipment, airport ground support equipment and associated systems.
• Use computerized diagnostic tools, electronic testing equipment and other testing devices to identify faults and determine the extent of required repairs.
• Adjust, repair or replace defective parts and components using hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Repair and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, including electrical control and engine‑control systems.
• Diagnose and repair diesel‑engine systems, including fuel‑injection, exhaust, cooling and lubrication systems.
