Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs on multiple brands of civil construction equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance as required.
- Rebuild and overhaul engines, transmissions, final drives and differentials on multiple brands and varying sizes of civil construction equipment.
- Identify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues in trucks and trailers.
- Use diagnostic software, scan tools and manual inspection to pinpoint faults.
- Conduct hydraulic pump and cylinder rebuilds as needed
- Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct scheduled inspections (oil changes, fluid checks, filters, belts, etc.).
- Document and complete maintenance schedules in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Schedule work and coordinate with Shop Lead & other teammates.
Qualification Requirements
- Candidates must have a Journeyman’s certificate as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Technician.
- Possession of a valid 1A driver’s license is an asset.
- Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with others in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skill:
- Can read and follow electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
- Can follow disassembly and assembly processes from manuals.
- Welding experience considered an asset.
- Experience operating heavy equipment considered an asset.

Additional Notes:
- Saskatoon based.
- Position based on 8hr workdays, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working overtime if required. Overtime may be required on evenings and weekends.

- Overtime after 8hrs/day and/or 40hrs/week.
