Job summary

Cac Recycling is seeking a hands-on Heavy Duty Mechanic to support our active fleet of wheel loaders, excavators, balers, shears, and trucks. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment with a problem-solving mindset to minimize downtime.

Key tasks include preventive maintenance, welding and fabrication, hydraulic/electrical/engine troubleshooting, and meticulous documentation of work and parts used. A journeyman certificate is preferred and 5+ years in the industry is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment diagnostics and repair.
• Minimum 5 years in the heavy equipment industry.
• Valid driver's license.
