Job summary

Strathmore is seeking a skilled mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment in a fast-growing company. You will handle heavy equipment repairs, small engines, and routine maintenance while managing tool and vehicle inventories.

Ideal candidates have a DEP in mechanics or equivalent experience, at least 2 years in a related field, and a valid driver’s license. The role offers paid overtime, group insurance, and opportunities for rapid advancement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (tractors, loaders, chippers, bucket trucks).
• Diagnose and repair small engines (chainsaws, lawn mowers, blowers).
• Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Complete work orders and plan/execute in-house repairs.
• Respond to repair requests as needed.
