Job summary

PACCAR Leasing in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a full-time Heavy-Duty Diesel Apprentice to service Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. You will learn diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs under supervision, with a rotating shift schedule and a $1,000 sign-on bonus to purchase tools.

The role requires registration as an apprentice or willingness to register, at least 1 year of truck-trailer repair experience, safety awareness, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice or willing to register immediately.
• Minimum of 1 year truck-trailer repair experience.
• Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety.
• Available for full-time hours and able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections on general truck-tractor systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspection of truck-tractor components.
• Perform repairs to truck-tractor components.
• Complete required paperwork to reflect hours, parts and lube, which are utilized within each job function.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
