Flat Out Tire and Mechanical in Gull Lake, SK, is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty/Commercial Transport Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles. You will work independently, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide quality workmanship in a safe, professional shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a heavy-duty mechanic or technician.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and automotive tools.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1A asset).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine components.
• Perform oil changes, and other preventative maintenance.
• Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Explain required repairs and recommendations to customers when needed.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Keep the shop and work area clean and organized.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Flat Out Tire and Mechanical is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty/Commercial Transport Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Flat Out Tire and Mechanical is a locally owned and operated tire repair and mechanic shop servicing Gull Lake and area. We pride ourselves on customer service, transparency in pricing, clear communication and a commitment to knowing our customers by name.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine components
• Perform oil changes, and other preventative maintenance
• Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to lift 50+lbs
