Job summary

Morgan Construction & Environmental Ltd. in Canada seeks a Heavy Civil Equipment Operator to support remote project sites. The role involves earth moving, grading, road and pad work, and daily equipment inspections, with day and night shifts and rotations.

Candidates should have 3+ years operating graders, excavators, or dozers on heavy civil earthworks, with willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying weather. Certifications and safety trainings are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience operating graders (14M/24H) on heavy civil earthworks projects.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating excavators (336/470) on heavy civil sites.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating dozers (D6T/D8/D9/D10) on heavy civil projects.
• Experience with mining environments and road building/leases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform earth moving, grading, stripping overburden, stacking, and stockpiling.
• Inspect equipment and ensure safety compliance and reliability.
• Operate 2-way radio and coordinate with site personnel.
• Assist ground personnel and perform labour duties when required.
• Adhere to project specs and safety procedures; communicate effectively on site.
• Maintain awareness of hazards; conduct JSAs/FLHAs as required.
