Job summary

IDL Projects Inc. in Canada is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support a range of civil, infrastructure and industrial projects. You will operate a variety of machines safely on site, follow plans and codes, and uphold high safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, ability to interpret grade stakes and perform earthworks, and a valid driver's license. You will contribute to routine maintenance, report needs to the superintendent, and work closely with a team to deliver

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment.
Ability to interpret grade stakes and perform earthworks.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with construction terms and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to plans and regulations.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Clean and maintain heavy equipment.
Store equipment safely.
Notify Superintendent or maintenance about repairs.
Assist with fueling and routine maintenance.
Promote workplace safety.
May perform other duties as required.
Operate Dozers, Graders, Backhoe Loaders, Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steer, Packers.
