Randstad Canada is recruiting for a Machine Operator - Warehouse Production (Heat Press Operator) in Toronto. The role is a 3-month contract with potential extension and possible full-time for the right candidate. Shifts include a day shift and an evening shift with hourly pay rates.

Qualifications include heat press experience in apparel, ability to stand for long hours, strong attention to detail, and English proficiency. Clear criminal record, weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in heat press or machines in the apparel industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for majority of the shift.
• Familiarity with diverse heat transfer materials.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Technical troubleshooting capability
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat press machinery to transfer designs onto sports jerseys.
• Ensure accurate placement and alignment of designs. (centered)
• Monitor and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals.
• Perform quality control to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
