Job summary

Precision Record Pressing is seeking a PRESS OPERATOR for our Burlington, Canada location. The role involves operating vinyl presses to produce high‑quality vinyl records for customer orders. The position uses a weekly rotation between day (7am‑3pm) and afternoon (3pm‑11pm) shifts and offers eligible shift premium.

Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work without sponsorship. You will read orders, set up and monitor presses, and help ensure product quality and safety in

Qualifications

• Must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience operating vinyl presses or similar manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and production schedules

Responsibilities

• Operate vinyl presses to produce materials according to customer specifications while maintaining quality standards and safety.
• Read work orders and production schedules to ensure conformance to specs.
• Set up, start and shut down machines (extruders, hydraulic and pneumatic presses) and monitor operations; restock materials as required.
• Meet or exceed target attainment goals on a daily/monthly basis; perform quality audits at point of manufacture.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work area clean.
• Report malfunctions and trouble‑shoot equipment as necessary.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will be responsible for the operation of vinyl presses to produce high quality vinyl records for fulfillment of assigned customer orders. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment!

This position operates on a weekly rotation of day (7am-3pm) and afternoon (3pm-11pm) shift basis and is eligible for shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Operate vinyl presses to produce materials consistent with customer specifications while ensuring quality standards are met and adhering to all safety standards and regulations
  • Read work orders and production schedules to ensure conformance to customer specifications
  • Set up, start and shut down machines (extruders, hydraulic and pneumatic presses) & monitor their operations, restocking materials as required
  • Consistently meet or exceed identified target attainment goals on a daily and monthly basis
  • Perform quality audits at point of manufacture
• Perform routine general maintenance on machines and work area daily; maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned production area at all times
• Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to appropriate parties; troubleshoot equipment malfunctions as necessary
