Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Canada invites applications for a Software Developer Co-op to help build a world-class Oncology EMR and Treatment Management System for patients in Canada and around the world.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern technologies including .NET Core, C#, Java, Typescript, Angular, HTML, CSS, RESTful services and SQL Server, while participating in design reviews, coding, testing and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience using at least one of the following technologies: .NET Core, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular (or similar JS frameworks).
• Ability to be analytical, communicative and focused; able to express and sell ideas.
• Aptitude to work independently and openly discuss ideas and solutions with colleagues.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, majoring in computer science.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and document software enhancements for Oncology focused products using .NET Core, C#, Java, Typescript, Angular, HTML, CSS, RESTful services, SQL Server.
• Participate in design and code reviews, unit, feature and regression testing; collaborate with global teams.
• Apply analytical mindset to solve complex problems in a multicultural environment.
• Contribute to building a world-class Oncology EMR and Treatment Management System used in Canada and globally.
