Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health System is seeking a Facility Contract and Project Manager to oversee the West 5th Campus DBFM Project and lead renovation, infrastructure and space-related initiatives.

The role coordinates with Project Co, the FM Service Provider, hospital leadership, clinical programs, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery in healthcare settings. Qualifications

• 3-year college diploma or equivalent in facility maintenance, contract administration, or engineering tech.
• Undergraduate degree in P.Eng, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• PMP or FMP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for staff facility issues and manage downtime planning and communications.
• Supervise downtimes for upgrades, often evenings or overnights.
• Primary contact for Hamilton Fire Department inspections and code red incidents.
• Monitor third‑party facilities team performance and review work orders.

PMP/FMP certification

5–7 years experience

Education
