Yorkville University in Fredericton, NB, is hiring a Collections Development Librarian to strengthen library resources within programs and courses. You will collaborate with faculty, curriculum designers, and e-learning teams to ensure timely, equitable access to high-quality resources and open-access materials.

This hybrid role combines on-site and remote work three days a week. You have a Master of Library and Information Science (ALA-accredited) and a strong background in collections

Qualifications

• Master of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Understanding of collections development and evidence-based assessment.
• Experience with nursing or health sciences collections is an asset.
• Comfort with library and educational technologies and related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Integrate library resources into curricula and course development.
• Develop and evolve nursing and health sciences collections.
• Advance open-access resources and affordable materials.
• Build partnerships with faculty and cross-functional teams.
• Provide on-campus and online research support and webinars.
• Collaborate to improve collections, services, and library processes.
