Job Summary
The Safety Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing safety programs and policies across all Cresco projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Development & Construction, this individual will work closely with staff, contractors, and stakeholders to drive a safety-first culture and continuously improve safety practices.

Qualifications
As the ideal candidate, you have 5+ years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry, along with a deep understanding of relevant government acts, legislation, and safety regulations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing key stakeholders, employees, and contractors to foster a strong safety culture. Proficiency in Microsoft office and safety software is essential, and the candidate should possess excellent organizational and analytical skills. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach, combined with a tactful and mature demeanor and well-developed interpersonal skills, will ensure success in this role. Additionally, the candidate must hold professional safety designations and demonstrate a record of current training.
