Job Summary :

The HSE Manager develops and implements safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe, compliant workplace. Responsibilities include risk assessments, training, record-keeping, environmental compliance, and supporting sustainable practices. The role reports to the Operations Manager.

Minimum Requirements :

• BA / BS in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years in HSE roles within manufacturing
• Experience in training development, computer-based training, and tracking systems
• CRSP certification is a plus

Preferred Skills :

• Strong communication skills, professional approach
• Experience with BBS, Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, ISO standards
• Proficiency with Office software
• Knowledge of Canadian occupational safety and environmental regulations

Responsibilities :

• Develop and communicate safety policies and procedures
• Investigate incidents and report accurately
• Support environmental compliance and audits
• Maintain ISO certifications
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
• Deliver safety and environmental training
• Lead safety committees and programs
