Job summary

First Onsite Restoration in Calgary, Alberta is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team and strengthen our safety program. You will develop policies, lead risk assessments, and train staff to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in progressive health and safety or related positions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• University Degree or College diploma in Health and Safety, Business, or related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and create risk management plans.
• Provide guidance and training on health and safety issues.
• Ensure workplace complies with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop emergency response plans.
• Review and update the health and safety program on a regular basis.
