Job summary

Northlands College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in teaching laboratory components within the Northlands College/University of Saskatchewan Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BScN) program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BScN)
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
• Minimum of two years of recent clinical and teaching training experience within the past 5 years in areas of long term care, home care and special care settings.
• Ability to obtain full satisfactory clearance for practicum facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing lab instruction ranging from approximately 30-40 hours in length.
• Prepare and facilitate lab activities and learning experiences.
• Complete student assessments, grading and evaluations as required.
• Preparation, assessment and evaluation time is included within the contract hours and may be negotiated.
