Job summary

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field is the minimum educational qualification.
• A Masters Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Two years of recent clinical/teaching experience in medical, surgical, and pediatric or obstetrical nursing is required.
• Eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan is required.
• Current TLR Certificate is required.
• Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic accreditation requirements.
• Must be in good standing with Saskatchewan Health Authority.
• Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
• Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check are required.

The Opportunity

The successful Practical Nursing Instructor will be responsible for instruction of the Practical Nursing program, and clinical instruction/supervision of students in health care facilities.

Requirements

• The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a related field. A Masters Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience in the area of medical, surgical and pediatric or obstetrical nursing.
• Must be eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
• Current TLR Certificate.
• Applicants must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic accreditation requirements.
• Applicants must be in good standing with Saskatchewan Health Authority.
• Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
• Must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license

If you meet the minimum experience and education qualifications your wage would be $59.52/hour. This wage increases with additional nursing experience and applicable education.
