Job summary

CBI Home Health is hiring Health Care Aides to support clients in Milk River and surrounding communities. You will provide personal care in clients' homes, help them stay safe and independent, and report any changes to the care team.

A flexible schedule accommodates full-time, part-time, or casual roles. We offer weekend premiums, travel/mileage reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active CLHA license in good standing.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 6 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Commitment to work every other weekend.
• Strong English communication skills; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their home.
• Assist clients to mobilize and perform light exercises.
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• May perform light housekeeping as indicated in care plans.

What You Will Do

As a caring, responsible health care team member, you will support clients to be as safe and independent in our community settings, as possible, helping them to live their best lives. You will provide personal care to clients in their home, and may assist them to mobilize and perform light exercises. You will act at all times with the client and their family at the heart of all you do, observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in their condition to your Manager/Supervisor. You may be required to perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Active License and in good standing with the CLHA
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
• Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
• Commitment to work every other weekend
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to communicate in other languages an asset
• Reliability and strong organization skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg)
