The Health and Safety Manager is a senior member of the Site Leadership Team and reports to the Vice President, Coffee Project. This role provides practical, visible leadership across exploration, project development, construction readiness, and site operations.
The Coffee Gold Project is in an active development and start-up environment. The successful candidate will not be inheriting a fully mature safety program. They will be expected to assess current practices, identify gaps, establish priorities, strengthen systems, and work collaboratively with Talamore leaders, employees, contractors, and project partners to build a consistent and accountable safety culture.
This is a hands on leadership role requiring regular presence at the remote Coffee Project site. The successful candidate must be comfortable with rotational camp life, changing priorities, limited infrastructure, challenging weather, and the practical realities of a developing northern mining project.
We are seeking an ambitious, resilient, and collaborative safety leader who is energized by building, not simply maintaining an effective health and safety program.
This is a remote, camp-based position supporting the Coffee Gold Project in Yukon. The role requires regular rotation into and out of site, with the specific rotation and travel arrangements confirmed as part of the employment agreement.
$120,000-190,000 annually, dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications, mining experience, remote-camp experience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
