Job summary
IAMGOLD is seeking a Sustainability Clerk for the Cote Gold Mine Site. The role provides administrative support across health, safety, security, and environmental functions, including records management, reporting, correspondence, and safety data tracking.
Based on site and reporting to the Sustainability Manager, the position strengthens health, safety, and environmental performance through accurate administration and reporting, contributing to a safe, compliant, and sustainable mining
Qualifications
- High school diploma with related post-secondary training and/or advanced business and management courses.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the corrective action tracking system, escalating delays to ensure timely resolution and compliance with sustainability protocols.
- Oversee the entry and maintenance of incident data within ensuring high levels of data integrity for site-wide reporting.
- Collect and analyze site lagging and leading indicators to maintain real-time KPI dashboards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for health and safety inquiries and distribute critical Safety Talk information to Supervisors.
- Lead the development of document templates and manage project-wide document control efforts to ensure organizational consistency.
- Organize safety-related meetings, including agenda preparation and the publication of formal minutes to track action items.
- Collaborate regularly with operations personnel to facilitate the timely submission of reports and safety-related documentation.

We’re actively searching for a Sustainability Clerk to join the Cote Gold sustainability team. Based on site and reporting to the Sustainability Manager, this role provides administrative support across health, safety, security, and environmental functions, including records management, reporting, correspondence, and safety data tracking.
This position supports IMG’s purpose by strengthening health, safety, and environmental performance through accurate administration and reporting. By helping monitor safety statistics and maintain reliable records, the role contributes to a safe, compliant, and sustainable mining operation.
- Manage the corrective action tracking system, escalating delays to ensure timely resolution and compliance with sustainability protocols.
- Oversee the entry and maintenance of incident data within ensuring high levels of data integrity for site-wide reporting.
- Collect and analyze site lagging and leading indicators (such as working hours, FLRA cards, and inspections) to maintain real-time KPI dashboards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for health and safety inquiries and distribute critical Safety Talk information to Supervisors.
- Lead the development of document templates and manage project-wide document control efforts to ensure organizational consistency.
- Organize safety-related meetings, including agenda preparation and the publication of formal minutes to track action items.
- Collaborate regularly with operations personnel to facilitate the timely submission of reports and safety-related documentation.
- Handle day-to-day administrative logistics, including stationery procurement, SharePoint site maintenance, and various ad-hoc sustainability projects.
- High school diploma with related post-secondary training and/or advanced business and management courses.
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards.
- Adaptable and quick to learn new systems, processes, and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
