Job summary

Talamore Mining, a Vancouver-based exploration company, is seeking a geological professional for fieldwork in Yukon, Canada. The role involves logging drill cores, coordinating site activities, and maintaining records while operating in remote environments on a two-week on / two-week off rotation.

Minimum B.Sc. in Geology or related field, 1–5 years of exploration experience, and G.I.T. eligibility are preferred. Rotation requires periodic travel to Vancouver with safety-driven operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc. in Geology or Earth Sciences, or current enrollment in a related degree program.
• 1–5 years of mineral exploration experience, preferably in Canada.
• Eligibility for, or registration as, a Geoscientist in Training (G.I.T.).

Responsibilities

• Execute drill core and chip logging to Company standards, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure.
• Support drilling operations through collar staking, drill pad inspections, rig line-ups, downhole surveys, and drill site supervision.
• Ensure accurate sample handling, labelling, and tracking.
• Maintain detailed geological records, logs, and databases.
• Assist with daily, weekly, and program summary reporting.
• Conduct fieldwork in compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and daily planning activities.
• Identify and elevate safety, data quality, or operational issues as required.

Purpose of the Role

The position plays a key role in ensuring exploration data is collected accurately and consistently to support technical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience working in remote or northern environments preferred
• Familiarity with gold exploration and drilling programs considered an asset
• Willingness to work rotational schedules at site

Work Location & Conditions

• Location: Yukon Territories, Canada
• Remote-based role with preference for Yukon-based candidates; periodic travel to the Yukon and Vancouver required.
• Rotation: Two-week on / 2-week off rotation at the Coffee Gold Project.
• Physical requirements: Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Expected Compensation

$30- $45 CAD per hour
