Are you looking for an exciting new career opportunity?

CrimsonXT have partnered with the pioneers of oil free centrifugal chillers, seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee all health and safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial health and safety management, preferably within the HVAC or manufacturing industry, along with expertise in Québec, Canadian, and U.S. safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and update health and safety policies in compliance with CNESST, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
• Implement safety programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety across multiple locations.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to each site.
• Organize and conduct health and safety training sessions for all staff levels in both Canada and the U.S.
• Ensure employees are well-informed about safety protocols and emergency procedures specific to their location.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses at various sites.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on health and safety legislation in both Québec / Canada and New York / USA.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company during inspections and audits.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for multiple facilities.
• Coordinate regular emergency drills to ensure readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on health and safety performance.
• Work closely with operations, engineering, and HR departments across different locations.
• Promote safety best practices throughout the organization.

What we are looking for :

• A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) and / or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the industrial sector.
• Experience in the HVAC or chiller industry is an asset.
• Proven ability to manage health and safety programs in both Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of Québec occupational health and safety regulations (CNESST) and U.S. OSHA standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
