Job summary

Walmar in Hawkesbury, ON is seeking a Health & Beauty department leader to guide the team across Health and Beauty, Pharmacy – OTC, and Cosmetics, ensuring high service levels and efficient task completion.

You will train associates, run daily huddles, supervise scheduling, merchandising, safety, and store operations, and respond to problems with proactive coaching to improve performance. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the Health and Beauty areas (Health and Beauty, Pharmacy – Over the Counter and Cosmetics) and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training. Ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...1.Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate2.Assists in providing directions and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Food & Consumables Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of daily Customer Availability process tasks.3.Assesses the overall presentation of Health & Beauty Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required4.Ensure strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity5.Review completed schedules with People Lead.6. Assign Associates to support coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.7.Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities.
