Job summary

Belvent Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Supervisor in Edmonton, AB. The role involves organizing logistics, supervising 3–4 shippers and receivers, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely distribution of goods.

The ideal candidate has a college diploma and at least 1 year of related experience, plus certificates in first aid and forklift operation. Strong MS Office skills and HVAC industry familiarity are valued assets.

Qualifications

• College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in engineering, IT, project management, business administration, management and operations or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving or operations.
• First aid certificate and forklift operator certificate.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• HVAC service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans to prioritize and organize tasks.
• Oversee operational logistics and coordinate with other units.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Recruit, hire and train staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Organize inventory, requisition materials and arrange shipping/receiving.
• Ensure smooth operation of equipment; schedule maintenance.
• Work Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; maintain documentation.

Supervision: Ability to supervise 3 to 4 shippers and receivers

Certificates and licenses: First aid certificate and forklift operator certificate

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.

Service experience: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge

Area of specialization: Shipping and receiving.

Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Flexibility in schedule is required. Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
