Interac is seeking a Head, Payments, T&O in Toronto, Canada. The successful candidate will lead the technology strategy and operations for Interac’s Debit products.
The role requires significant expertise in payments technology and operational leadership to ensure reliable and efficient payment services. Exceptional candidates will possess at least 15 years of experience in technology delivery and have a strong understanding of regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Group Head, Technology & Operations, the vacant Head, Payments, T&O, will lead the technology strategy, execution and operations of Interac’s Debit and related payments products. This role will be accountable for ensuring all platforms required for the delivery of Interac’s Debit product are secure, resilient, scalable, and continuously evolving to meet the needs of financial institutions, merchants, partners, and consumers.
This role will be accountable for delivering highly available, high-throughput payment services, modernizing core debit platforms, and enabling future payments capabilities while maintaining the highest standards of reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.
