The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in insurance leadership, strong broker relationships, and a track record of scaling specialty businesses within a national framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive insurance and underwriting leadership experience.
• Experience leading specialty insurance businesses with national scope and significant financial responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic vision, business plan, and growth agenda for CNA Canada's Specialty and Programs business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and specialty strategies.
• Provides executive leadership for Specialty product lines, including Management Liability, Financial Lines, Cyber & Professional Lines, Healthcare, and Programs/Affinity, driving profitable growth, market expansion, and long-term business performance.
• Oversees underwriting governance, delegated authority frameworks, regulatory compliance, and portfolio management to support growth and profitability.
