Marcon in Vancouver is seeking a Director, Portfolio Operations & Performance to strengthen the performance of our income-producing properties and build the platform to support future growth.

Reporting to the VP IPP & Hospitality, the role leads Property Management and Hotel Operations, establishes scalable standards, and works across IT, Marketing, Development and Finance to drive disciplined, data-driven results and strong leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive real estate operations experience.
• Experience leading operating performance across multiple properties and asset classes.
• Exposure to hospitality operations, asset management, real estate development, or corporate development.
• Experience leading through managers and strengthening capability across broader teams.
• Strong financial and business-management capability (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, expense management).
• Experience building scalable operating platforms, standards and playbooks.
• Knowledge of property-management technology (Yardi, RentCafe) and data/system integration.
• Ability to lead across Property Management, Hotel Operations, Asset Management, Development, Finance, Technology and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen operating performance across Property Management and Hotel Operations.
• Establish scalable operating standards, systems and technology practices.
• Lead property mobilizations and openings, and align development with long-term operating performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Asset Management, Development, Construction, Accounting, IT and Marketing.
• Build leadership capability across teams and strengthen accountability for day-to-day execution.
