My client is a leading global iGaming business with headquarters in Toronto and offices worldwide. With over 300 employees and a strong presence across multiple markets, the company is at the forefront of online gaming innovation, offering engaging digital experiences and cutting-edge technology to players around the globe.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to lead their global payments function. This is a critical leadership role reporting to the CFO and Director of Finance, with a mandate to shape and execute the company’s payment strategy and drive innovation across PSP operations.

The Head of PSP will be responsible for overseeing global payment processing operations, ensuring robust coverage, competitive rates, and seamless player experiences. The successful candidate will manage a high-performing payments technology team, lead commercial negotiations, and drive continuous improvements through automation and AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the global PSP strategy to ensure diversified and redundant payment solutions across all key markets
  • Manage the payments team and elevate the overall cashier and transaction experience for players
  • Own all aspects of PSP engagement, including contract negotiation, communication, and ongoing relationship management
  • Oversee enhancements to backend systems related to cashier and payment operations
  • Collaborate with Finance to streamline reconciliation processes and improve accounting integration
  • Implement automation tools and AI technologies to drive operational efficiency
  • Lead the rollout of new payment methods, products, and capabilities
  • Ensure the scalability and resilience of the payment ecosystem
  • Handle other strategic and operational duties as required

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, specifically focused on payments or PSP management
  • Proven track record in developing and executing PSP strategies in a global context
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing both technical and operational teams
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation capabilities
  • Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
