We are seeking a high‑impact Director of Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering to turn a heavy, fast‑moving order book into on‑time delivery. This leader will own end‑to‑end production and engineering, building scheduling, planning, and accountability to match demand in a high‑mix, small‑order, high‑rate environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing and operations, including 5+ years with direct accountability for production and delivery.
• Strong hardware or product engineering depth; able to evaluate technical claims directly.
• Experience in a busy, high‑mix, low‑volume, high‑quality manufacturing environment.
• Operational leadership in scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Credibility with senior technical teams earned through competence.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100, ECOs, BOMs, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the full production schedule across all active orders.
• Build repeatable production processes and hold teams accountable to delivery dates.
• Partner with supply chain on lead times, constraints, and schedule conflicts.
• Resolve cross‑functional technical issues and sign off on certification readiness.
• Translate growth targets into operational plans with clear metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks and risks early; build contingencies.
• Mentor engineering and production leads to strengthen capability and reduce single‑point dependencies.
