Position Title: Head of Finance (Remote)

Contract: Full-time, Independent Contractor

Location: 100% remote

Working hours: 40 hours per week

The Role: We are recruiting an experienced Head of Finance to lead and evolve our finance function, ensuring it is well-structured and efficient to support the firm’s growth. You will analyze complex operating models and implement strategic changes to provide insightful MI for decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing strategic financial insights to the senior leadership team.
2. Owning the process for preparing and auditing consolidated financial statements (US GAAP and IFRS).
3. Assessing financial performance and aiding in strategic goal achievement.
4. Leading the sourcing and implementation of new accounting/ERP software.
5. Presenting financial results and recommendations to SLT.
6. Aligning business objectives with financial plans and budgets.
7. Improving efficiency in finance reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and modeling processes.
8. Overseeing finance IT systems, including development and implementation.
9. Managing and developing the finance team.

Qualifications and Attributes:

1. Professional accountant qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, CPA) or equivalent.
2. 15+ years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting.
3. Leadership experience with the ability to communicate financial strategies effectively.
4. Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, plus regulatory requirements.
5. Commercial awareness.
6. Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and ERP systems is advantageous.
7. Fluent English communication skills.
