Job summary

RBC is seeking a strategic leader to establish data as a competitive advantage within Investor Services and Wealth Management. You will define the data product portfolio, own governance, and ensure 100% accuracy and on-time delivery across client channels (APIs, feeds, real-time streams, portals, reports).

You will partner with senior leaders to translate client needs into scalable data products, drive enterprise alignment, and build organizational capability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data management or data governance in financial services.
• Ability to define granular data product specs and delivery channels.
• Experience establishing data quality frameworks with 100% accuracy and SLA adherence.
• Executive-level stakeholder management to influence senior leaders.
• Deep expertise in data governance, architecture, and enterprise data management.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic vision and roadmap for the data product portfolio for Investor Services.
• Lead requirements discovery translating client needs into data product specs and SLAs.
• Establish enterprise-grade data governance with clear ownership and accountability.
• Own data quality and timeliness across client-facing data products and SLAs.
• Design scalable, secure data platform architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
• Represent data strategy in cross-enterprise discussions and drive alignment.
• Lead and develop data management teams in a matrix environment.
