Job summary

RBC is seeking a Business System Analyst for the Global Wealth Management Data Hub to lead data analysis, mapping, profiling, quality, and governance initiatives. You will collaborate with IT and business partners to define requirements and ensure alignment with RBC data standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, data governance, and delivering scalable data solutions within Wealth Management technology. 37.5 hours/week, in Toronto, full-time.

Qualifications

• Strong business domain understanding of Wealth-Management and Trading lifecycle.
• Excellent SQL knowledge to query databases for data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Create technical specifications for development teams (batch, API, Kafka).
• Strong communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience leading small teams with planning and budgeting.
• Familiarity with Agile methods and related tools (Confluence, Jira).
• Experience with large projects and multiple interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Understand data meaning with IT and business partners to align data design with standards.
• Develop knowledge of data from upstream sources and data platforms.
• Elicit and analyze business and data requirements for complete solutions.
• Contribute to standardized processes and scalable Wealth Data Hub solutions.
• Guide colleagues on data-management practices and governance.
