Join Naked Copenhagen as our Head of Buying

NAKED Copenhagen is looking for a talented and experiencedHead of Buyingto lead our Buying & Merchandising Team in selecting and procuring the most stylish and trendsetting products for our customers, with a strong emphasis on merchandising and purchase orders.

About your role in the Buying & Merchandising Team

As Head of Buying, you will play a key role in shaping our product assortment and ensuring seamless integration with our merchandising processes. You’ll lead a dynamic team of buyers, collaborate with suppliers, analyze market trends, and make strategic decisions to enhance our offerings. You will also oversee the P2P (procure-to-pay) process and purchase order flow to ensure efficient operations.

Your tasks and responsibilities in the position as Head of Buying will include:

·Buying operations:

oSupport buyers in purchasing new collections, including inline and release products, from selected brands.

oMaintain and adapt buying tools in a dynamic environment to ensure quality and traceability of purchases.

oCollaborate with the Product Assortment Manager to curate a diverse and on-brand product selection aligned with company image and financial targets.

oEvaluate brand performance and potential new brand partnerships.

oEstablish and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely deliveries.

·Merchandising Operations:

oOversee the entire P2P process, ensuring smooth collaboration across buying, merchandising, and finance.

oLead the creation and management of purchase orders, track deliveries, and reconcile invoices to maintain accurate records.

oCollaborate with vendors to resolve delivery issues and optimize the supply chain.

·Market Analysis and Trend Forecasting:

oStay ahead of market trends and fashion dynamics to anticipate consumer preferences.

oAnalyze sales data and customer feedback to identify winning products and areas for improvement.

·Team Leadership:

oLead and mentor a team of buyers and merchandisers, providing guidance and support in daily operations.

oFoster a collaborative, creative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

·Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

oCoordinate with marketing, sales, and inventory management to align product strategies with overall business goals.

oEnsure effective communication across departments to execute merchandising plans seamlessly.

·Budget Management:

oWork closely with the finance team to establish and manage procurement budgets.

oMonitor costs while maintaining high standards for product quality and customer satisfaction.

·Bachelor’s degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

·Proven experience as a Buying Manager / Head of Buying or in a similar role within the fashion industry.
