Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead risk and compliance initiatives within the Audit, Risk & Compliance function. The role focuses on implementing 1LOD risk management, AI-specific compliance, and enterprise-wide governance across a large regulated environment.

You will drive policy development, enhance controls, and coordinate across ARC and the broader enterprise to ensure regulatory readiness and robust risk management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline and relevant certification in the Risk/Compliance domain.
• 7-10 years of experience in Risk & Compliance within a large, regulated enterprise.
• Experience with AI-specific Compliance and 1LOD risk management responsibilities.
• Experience across Risk, Audit Compliance driven by all three lines of defense.
• Experience in Audit and Testing, Issue remediation, Monitoring and Reporting, policy changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead ARC risk and compliance programs including data & analytics risk framework development and reporting.
• Drive proactive risk-management practices in partnership with ARC/Enterprise with 1B/2LOD alignment.
• Maintain the control library and evidence management to support exam readiness.
• Coordinate with Audit & Test management to integrate evidence repositories with engagement-management tooling.
