The City of Cambridge is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to oversee pool operations during all swims, ensuring safety and program quality. You will manage staff performance, deliver training, and assist with swim classes while maintaining records and ensuring visitor satisfaction.
Two years of aquatics experience and relevant Lifeguard/Instructor certifications are required; a strong focus on safety, communication with families, and adherence to policies is essential.

Two years' experience in aquatics and in the supervision of staff and/or facilities.

LifesavingSociety SwimInstructor
LifesavingInstructor Certificate or willing to obtain within 6 months
Intermediate First AidorStandard First Aidwith CPR C/AED
High Five - Principles of Healthy Child Development& Quest 2or willing to obtain within 6 months
Aquatic Supervisor Training
Lifesaving SocietyPool Operator - Level 1 or equivalentor willing to obtain within 6 months
Current and valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check to be provided prior to commencement in this position.
Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications.
Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness Training Certificate from the Ministry of Labour
The hourly rate of pay for the position is $2 2.65 per hour.
