City of Cambridge seeks an aquatic instructor to lead learn-to-swim and lifesaving programs. You will enforce safety rules, deliver quality lessons, and support facility activities with a proactive safety mindset.
The role requires Lifeguard and Lifesaving certifications, First Aid/CPR, and strong communication with participants. Training and certificates are mandatory within specified timelines, with hours including evenings and weekends.

Experience working with children is an asset
National Lifeguard - Pool
Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor
Lifesaving Instructor Certificate or willing to obtain within 6 months
Intermediate First Aid or Standard First Aid with CPR C/AED
High Five - Principles of Healthy Child Development or willing to obtain within 6 months
Current and valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check to be provided prior to commencement in this position.
Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications.
Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour. (may be obtained post offer)
The hourly rate of pay for the position is $21.90 per hour.
