Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Vancouver is seeking an experienced kitchen supervisor/chef to lead culinary operations focused on Thai cuisine. You will supervise cooks, plan menus, train staff, and ensure the highest quality and cost control in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include estimating labour costs, maintaining records of food costs and inventory, and coordinating equipment purchases while upholding safety and allergen standards. On-site position with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation required.
  • Minimum 5 years of kitchen/culinary leadership experience.
  • Thai cuisine experience or familiarity preferred.

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
  • Leading/instructing individuals.
