We are hiring a Head Cashier for our store in London (North Centre Rd)!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service;
  • Training all cashiers on point of sale, customer service and checkout procedures;
  • Completing ordering and replenishment of checkout merchandise (including tobacco and lottery);
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store on a rotating basis;
  • Ensuring compliance of all checkout policies on a daily basis;
  • Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed;
  • Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized;
  • Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed;
  • Resolving customer complaints quickly and professionally;

When You’ll Work:
A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly.

While performing the duties of this job, you can expect to:

  • Stand and/or walk.
  • Bend, twist, and squat.
  • Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
  • Perform tasks involving firm grasping.
  • Perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions.
  • Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
  • Operate equipment, including using a ladder.

Keyholder Premium (If Applicable):

Opening and closing the store on an ad hoc basis, including running register reports, ensuring all areas are tidy, ensuring all Associates have completed their end of shift tasks, and being responsible for security of the store including locking and setting alarm.

Employee Universal Accountabilities:

Ensures a high level of customer service, ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed, ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed, ensuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery, and ensuring emergency protocols are followed.
