Retail Cashiers greet customers with a smile and ensure they receive top-notch service on every visit. You will operate a register most of the day, along with tasks like cleaning, stocking shelves, receiving deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities as a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Suggest purchases to promote store specials.
• Ring up sales and merchandise, offering available discounts/promotions, while following all policies and laws regarding restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco (must be the legal age).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Clean the fast-food area and equipment, and restock as needed.
• Follow proper sanitation, food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Legal age to sell regulated products, including alcohol and tobacco (NV only: legal age to work around slot machines).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting; reaching; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, or crouching; talking and listening.
• Frequently lift/move up to 20 pounds; occasionally up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in environments with heat, cold, allergens, noise, fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
