Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior technical expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the technical design and delivery in the project.
  • Provide technical advice to OPS and project team leveraging their PeopleSoft HCM technical knowledge and knowledge about Fluid UI and tools delivered as part of Fluid UI, to meet project goals and objectives ensuring efficiency.
  • Provide specialized PeopleSoft HCM Technical expertise in leading the design and build of the technical solutions for the OPS PeopleSoft HCM project.
  • Supporting WIN system enhancement planning and deliverables for Phase 2 of the WIN System Stability project by acting as the technical lead.
  • Assisting with WIN Optimization requirements planning for future onboarding process improvements.
  • Contributing to the planning for an MVP for WIN mobile capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and prioritize potential issues and provide advice on resolution.
  • Suggest opportunities to improve design and build of PeopleSoft modules and functionalities in use.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience leading technical teams to perform technical analysis, design, and implementation for entire project lifecycle - 25%
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrades: PUM and PeopleTools - 20%
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 suite with respect to Fluid and Classic Plus user interface - 15%
  • Experience supporting system integration and user acceptance testing from technical perspectives - 15%
  • Digital First approach to adopting digital processes using PeopleSoft HCM - 10%
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity, and perseverance skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills - 10%

  • Extensive experience coordinating and monitoring project processes, and developing/communicating guidelines and procedures.
  • Sources, selects, and on-boards team members in various disciplines, clarifying roles and responsibilities and setting task/deliverable/performance expectations for resources that are both OPS employees and fee-for-service (FFS) consultants.
  • Resolves resourcing and interpersonal conflicts, negotiates changes to resourcing, ensures knowledge is shared among team members such as project objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Proactively identifies potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed.
  • Promotes OPS I&IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality, adherence to standard methodology, and the control of the use of I&IT resources.
