  • Work within, and when required lead, multi‑disciplinary teams, acting as the technical bridge across engineering, quality, verification, and supplier teams to clarify system behavior, scope, and intent.
  • Review and estimate bids and proposals, collaborating with engineers and customers to validate cost‑effective solutions that meet requirements and address scope challenges.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, including participating in trade shows and customer workshops to understand customer needs, and providing technical assistance for demonstrations and technical meetings.
  • Ensure verification of system‑level requirements and validation that they meet customer and certification standards.
Qualifications to Join Our Team
  • Member of the OIQ or eligible for OIQ membership.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments such as avionics, aerospace, naval, automotive, telecommunications, or medical.
  • Previous exposure to safety‑critical or military applications.
  • Experience collaborating with customers (trade shows, workshops, technical demos, or technical meetings).
  • Familiarity with avionics‑related standards and practices (e.g., requirements traceability, configuration management, verification and validation frameworks).
  • Experience leading or coordinating multi‑disciplinary engineering teams (electronics, software, firmware, mechanical, optics, etc.).
What You Need to Excel in This Role
  • Hold a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Possess at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in a technology environment such as aeronautics, aerospace, naval, automotive, telecommunications, or medical.
  • Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines (electronics, software, firmware, algorithms, mechanical, optics) and collaborating on system integration and troubleshooting with limited technical guidance.
  • Understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, verification, validation), including interface control, configuration management, and requirements traceability.
  • Strong organizational, technical writing, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
Benefits We Offer
