Job summary

Borderland Co-operative Limited is hiring a Hardware Manager for our Broadview Hardware location. The role focuses on creating a collaborative environment, implementing strategies, and driving store success with strong leadership and inventory/financial controls.

You will oversee, coach and develop team members, manage performance and training, and ensure operations align with company standards while fostering relationships across the store.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is required; post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
• 3-5 years of successful management experience.
• Lumber, Hardware or Agriculture related experience would be considered an asset.
• Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented and collaborative to meet shared objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create a collaborative and efficient environment to drive store success.
• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance, including performance management and training.
• Establish strategies, goals, and objectives for the store and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee, coach and develop team members and team leaders, ensuring alignment with standards and inventory/financial controls.
