Position Title: PCB Layout Engineer

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proficiency with PCB layout tools, specifically Cadence Design tools (OrCAD/Allegro Schematic Capture and Allegro PCB Layout).
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in laying out RF, high-speed digital, and analog components.
• Strong understanding of electrical constraint sets and the ability to apply them effectively using Allegro Constraint Manager.
• Familiarity with Allegro scripting for process automation and customization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to develop layout strategies for complex, multi-layer printed circuit boards incorporating RF, high-speed digital, and analog components.
• Interface with PCB fabrication vendors and contract manufacturers to ensure compliance with Design for Manufacturability (DfM), Design for Assembly (DfA), and Design for Test (DfT) requirements.
• Generate and prepare complete PCB manufacturing output packages, including ODB++, Gerber files, assembly drawings, fabrication notes, and drill files.
• Ensure accurate and efficient data exchange and alignment between electrical (eCAD) and mechanical (mCAD) design domains.
• Maintain and improve PCB design processes and workflows.

Desirable Qualifications:

• IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID or CID+) certification.
• Experience with schematic symbol creation and PCB footprint generation.
